1. GENERAL USE OF WEBSITE
By accessing this website aiacarnival.com (“the Website”) you unreservedly accept the statutory provisions in force and the terms set out below.
If you do not wish to agree to these Terms and Conditions, do not access or use any part of the Website. The Website is owned and maintained by Great China Entertainment Group Limited (“GCEG”) or (“the Owner”).
GCEG reserves the right to modify the content of the Website at any time without notice. It cannot be held liable for the consequences of such modifications. Likewise, it reserves the right to interrupt or to suspend all or part of the Website’s functionalities at any time without notice.
GCEG may revise and update these Terms of Use at any time without notice by posting the amended terms to the Website. Your continued use of the Website means that you accept and agree to the revised Terms of Use.
In the event there are inconsistencies between the English and Chinese Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
1.1. INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
1.1.1. The information provided on the Website is for guidance and reference only.
1.1.2. GCEG strives to ensure that the information is as accurate, error-free and as up-to-date as possible. However, GCEG does not provide any warranty concerning the accuracy, details, or the timeliness or comprehensive nature of this information.

As such, the Owner disclaims any liability from any harm which may result from a lack of precision or accuracy in the information which is available on the Website; any damage including but not limited to computer equipment, tablet or mobile phone damage following a visit to the Website; and any harm which may result from a third party fraudulently penetrating the Website.
1.1.4. If for whatsoever reason the Website is down or not functioning correctly, the Owner cannot be held liable.
1.1.5. These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR, and any claim filed under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong SAR.

1.3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
1.3.1. All components which have been included on the Website besides social content featured in any section that features content from publicly available social pages, including but not limited to images, graphics, text, logos and trademarks are the intellectual property of GCEG. It is illegal to reproduce these components wholly or partially without prior written consent from the GCEG.
1.3.2. The social content featured in the Website, including images, text and comments has been curated from publicly available social pages. While due diligence has been taken to curate and review the social content, the Owner is not liable for any harm or damage caused by the social content.

2. GENERAL EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
2.1. Issue of tickets and admission to The AIA Carnival (‘Carnival’) are subject to our Rules and Regulations which are set out in the website at https://aiacarnival.com and at the Carnival entrance.
2.2. Each ticket is valid for one person single entry during the operational hours as stated on the aiacarnival.com website.
2.3. The Carnival will be closed to the public on Friday 10th January 2024 and Thursday 16th January 2024. The Carnival grounds will be used for private functions and will not be opened to the public.
2.4. Children under 3 years old and Seniors aged 65 or above are permitted entry for free. Any Person entitled to this offer may be requested by our staff to produce a valid document for verification of eligibility.
2.5. Concession includes children aged 3 to 11 years and people with disabilities. An original copy of a valid documents for people with disabilities must be presented to the Carnival. Children aged 11 or below must be accompanied by a person aged 15 or above.
2.6. Ticket is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable and only valid on the printed date of the ticket, with exception of clause 3.2. Ticket Exchanges.
2.7. Carnival may, without prior notice and without refund or compensation, change the operating hours of the Carnival or attractions, close the Carnival grounds or any part thereof temporarily, or suspend the operation of individual rides for weather, safety, maintenance, or any other reason.
2.8. The following activities are strictly prohibited in the Carnival:
2.8.1. Consumption of food or drink purchased outside the Carnival;
2.8.2. Sale of goods or services except with prior consent;
2.8.3. Commercial photography or videography except with prior consent;
2.8.4. Distribution of printed or recorded materials of any kind;
2.8.5. Unauthorised events, demonstrations or speeches, or the usage of any flag, banner or sign, and other unauthorised public gatherings;
2.8.6. Playing or operating remote-controlled flying devices;
2.8.7. Engaging in any unsafe act or other act that may impede the operation of the Carnival or any associated facility.
2.9. Visitors to the Carnival need to present personal identification documents to verify their identities as the authorised holder of the credit card used in the Website purchase.
2.10. No pets or animals are permitted in the Carnival, other than service animals with valid identification.
2.11. Visitors accept and agree that the Carnival may take and use your photographs or images for commercial purposes.
2.12. Visitors agree to comply with all notices and directions by any member of staff with the purpose of ensuring safety and order.
2.13. The Carnival reserves the right to deny admission, or to require removal from the Carnival grounds, without refund or compensation, for illegal, unsafe or offensive behaviour, or if we consider that the circumstances so require.
2.14. Except where required by law, under no circumstances are we liable for any damage, loss or personal injury suffered by you, whether the same is caused by our negligence or otherwise.
2.15. In the event of disputes, the Carnival reserves the right to make final judgement on the dispute and otherwise in respect of tickets.
2.16 In the event there are inconsistencies between the English and Chinese Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
2.17. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.
2.18. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTION STATEMENT
Personal data collected upon the purchase or issue of Tickets may be used for the processing of requests or enquiries, enforcing the terms of the commercial dealings, sending administrative materials to you, our internal business and administrative purposes, research and statistical purposes or other directly related purpose, or for legal, safety or security purposes. Provision of personal data for the mandatory fields is necessary. If you do not provide such personal data, we may not be able to provide you with the products or services you requested. Personal data may be transferred to third parties involved in fulfilling the aforesaid purposes, or such other persons as required by law.
3. TICKETING TERMS & CONDITIONS
3.1. TICKET PRICES
3.1.1. Tickets can be purchased both online and at the Carnival ticket booth at the Carnival entrance.
3.1.2. Up to date ticket prices for online purchases can be found on the AIA Carnival Ticket Prices page.
3.1.3. Up to date ticket prices for purchases at the door can be found at the AIA Carnival ticket booth located at the front gates.
3.2. TICKET EXCHANGES
3.2.1. Tickets purchased may be exchanged up to five (5) business days prior to the date of the original ticket purchased for tickets of an alternative date, in the event:
3.2.1.1. the preferred ticket date is available for purchase; and,
3.2.1.2. the ticket purchaser pays any difference in ticket fees for the preferred date.
3.2.2. To exchange a ticket(s) to a new date, email help@zicket.co with the order number and preferred date. The exchange transaction will be considered incomplete and your original ticket will remain valid until the ticket purchaser has:
3.2.2.1. received a response from Zicket.co acknowledging the exchange request;
3.2.2.2. paid any difference in ticket fees; and,
3.2.2.3. received a new ticket(s) with the preferred date.
No compensation or refunds will be issued in the event of an incomplete exchange transaction.
3.2.3. In the event the preferred date is a lower price than the original purchased ticket date, no refunds will be provided for the difference in price.
3.2.4. No exchanges will be possible within five (5) business days of the purchased ticket date.
3.2.5. Exchanges will incur an admin fee of HK$10 per ticket exchanged. 3.2.6. In the event of any disputes related to ticket exchanges, refunds, or transfers, the Owner’s decision shall be final.

4. E-TOKEN & CARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
The purpose of this General Terms and Conditions (‘GTC’) is to define the general terms of the use of the e-Token Card (‘Card’) issued by Greater China Entertainment Group Limited (“GCEG”) or (“the Owner”) at the AIA Carnival (‘Carnival’), organised and held by GCEG from 21 December 2023 to 25 February 2024, and the rights and obligations of the Carnival and the natural persons using the Card (‘Visitor’ or ‘Card Holder’).
4.1. E-TOKEN & CARD TERMS
4.1.1. By acceptance of the Card the Card Holder agrees to the provisions of this GTC, and accepts to be bound by these GTC.
4.1.2. Card is an electronic token wallet issued by the Carnival. E-Tokens shall be used in exchange for skill games, amusement rides and attractions located at the Carnival only, as unilaterally stipulated by the Carnival under this GTC.
4.1.3. The Card is based on RFID technology.
4.1.4. The Card cannot be considered a bank card or a cash equivalent payment means.
4.1.5. The Card cannot be used for admission.
4.1.6. The balance remaining on the Card cannot be withdrawn.
4.1.7. The Card contains no information about the Card Holders.
4.1.8. The Card is valid from acceptance and can be recharged at token boxes located at the Carnival.
4.2. CARD REQUEST & HANDLING
4.2.1. The Visitor can request a Card personally upon arrival to the Carnival and at the token boxes located at the Carnival.
4.2.2. The cancellation or replacement of lost or damaged Cards cannot be guaranteed.
4.2.3. As the name of the Card Holder is not indicated on the Card, the Visitor is advised not to give the Card to others, and to keep it in a safe place.
4.2.4. The Carnival takes no responsibility for damages caused by non-compliance with the abovementioned, loss or damage of the Card or use by unauthorised persons.
4.3. RECHARGING BALANCE
4.3.1. Recharging of the Card can be made only at Carnival designated locations.
4.3.2. Each Card has a balance in e-tokens. The minimum amount of recharging is 1 e-token. The maximum balance of the Card and the maximum amount of a single recharge is 150 e-tokens. The Card can be used in exchange for skill games, amusement rides and attractions located at the Carnival only, for any amount of e-tokens if the balance of the Card allows.
4.3.3. The balance of the Card can be recharged at any operating time.
4.3.4. The balance can only be recharged in e-tokens. Recharging disputes can only be made at the recharging point immediately following the recharge. After leaving the recharging point, recharging disputes are no longer valid.
4.4. PAYMENT BY CARD
4.4.1. Payment is made with the help of designated Carnival staff only.
4.4.2. Each designated carnival staff member has a Card reader with a display clearly visible to the Card Holder at the time of transaction.
4.4.3. Payment process:
4.4.3.1. Each designated member of Carnival staff has a card reader assigned to each skill game, amusement ride or attraction of the Carnival with the amount of e-tokens required to exchange for that specific skill game, amusement ride or attraction;
4.4.3.2. The e-token amount is shown on the display of the reader, and if the Visitor accepts the indicated amount, he/she personally or with the help of Carnival staff puts the Card to the reader and the exchange takes place;
4.4.3.3. The balance of the Card is decreased by the amount of e-tokens exchanged; 4.4.3.4. The display of the Card reader shows the new balance of e-tokens;
4.4.3.5. Cancellation of the exchange is not possible.
4.5. CHECKING THE BALANCE
4.5.1. The balance of the e-token Card is shown on the display of the Card reader immediately after each exchange and a balance can be requested at the cashier box.
4.5.2. The Carnival’s record concerning the balance of the Cards is final.
4.6. REPLACEMENT OF THE CARD
4.6.1. If the Card of the Visitor is lost the e-tokens cannot be replaced.
4.6.2. If the Card is damaged in a way it cannot be read by a Card reader, it is possible to request a damaged e-token Card balance transfer to a new Card. The damaged Card is presented with its serial number clearly visible and cancelled after the charge of the new Card is completed.
4.6.3. The Carnival reserves the right to refuse a Card balance transfer.
4.6.4. A new Card can be requested at the Customer Service counter at the Carnival.
4.7. CANCELLATION OF THE CARD
4.7.1. The balance of a lost or stolen Card cannot be transferred; only a damaged Card that’s balance can still be read can be transferred.
4.8. WITHDRAWAL OF THE BALANCE
4.8.1. The unused balance on a Card cannot be withdrawn.
4.8.2. The request to combine the balance of two or more Cards may be requested at designated Carnival locations. Such a request will require Carnival management approval and take time.
